Approve the visible size and the fold separately.
A flat label has no fold; a center-fold label folds across its middle; an end-fold label has edges turned behind. These are different constructions, so visible artwork size and the full label layout should not be treated as the same measurement. Mark the fold direction, sewing area and readable face on the artwork before sample review.

Identify front and back faces and their orientation after folding. A simple folded sketch alongside the artwork can clarify which text should face outward once the label is sewn in.
Can tiny lettering be approved from an enlarged image?
An enlarged image can hide how small the finished text will be. Review the design at its intended finished size and confirm legibility through the agreed sample process before approval.
